Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use websyte.uk, whatever device or technology they use. This statement covers websyte.uk. Our client area at my.websyte.uk is run by Upmind and is covered by their own accessibility work.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means you should be able to:

• use the whole site with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to content" link;
• use it with a screen reader, with clear headings, labelled forms and text alternatives for icons and images;
• zoom in up to 200% without content being cut off, and use the site on a phone without scrolling sideways;
• read text with enough contrast against its background;
• see form errors in words, not just colour, and be taken to the first one.

How we check

Every page is checked automatically for common accessibility problems each time we change the site, and we test the menus, forms and pop-ups with a keyboard. We're carrying out a fuller review, including testing with screen readers, before launch, and we'll update this page with the results.

What we know isn't perfect yet

• The one page website preview shows a sample website inside a frame. It's designed to be readable, but the sample website is a preview, not part of our main site, and hasn't been fully tested yet.
• Our client area (login, checkout, invoices and tickets) is run by a third party. If you have trouble with it, contact us and we'll help you directly.
